Rhode Island Credit Union holds fundraiser for violence prevention program on campus

11/08/05 - The University of Rhode Island Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services is holding a fundraiser at the Rhode Island Credit Union. The branch manager, Nancy L. Seale, decided to help after hearing the program needed funding and sought to become more involved in the community.

URI establishes awards gala to honor alumni

11/08/05 - The University of Rhode Island has begun to coordinate and establish what is being referred to as a distinguished achievement award program for URI alumni. The program has been initiated by Michelle Nota, executive director of alumni relations, and Robert Beagle, vice president for University Advancement.
