09/07/07 - Back to school move-in this weekend brought court dates for 14 University of Rhode Island students. Narragansett Police on patrol in Eastward Look charged 13 students Monday night and one student Tuesday night for a host of alcohol-related offenses.
09/07/07 - A University of Rhode Island student was stabbed early this morning while attending a dance in the Memorial Union, according to the campus' director of public safety. Robert Drapeau confirmed early this morning that one student received a "non-life threatening" injury as a result of a stabbing while inside the Memorial Union's Ballroom attending a dance sponsored by the Cape Verdean Students Association.
09/07/07 - After more than 100 years of gracing the University of Rhode Island with its presence on the Quadrangle, Lippitt Hall will receive a full renovation, leaving its occupants in temporary homes. The renovation will cost $8.5 million, according to the university Web site.
09/07/07 - University of Rhode Island students might be experiencing a slight pain in the asphalt, as the price of parking passes for both residents and commuters increased by $25 this semester. Resident stickers now cost $200 while commuter passes are $125.
