10/12/07 - Despite the perceived frequency of fire drills on the University of Rhode Island campus this semester, Major Stephen Baker of the URI Campus Police said that there have been two fire alarms less than there were at this time last year.
10/12/07 - A weekend filled with fireworks, tent-villages and a photo-op with Rhody the Ram is coming to the University of Rhode Island for this year's Homecoming. Though the main event is the football game against James Madison University on Saturday, student groups including the Student Alumni Association, Student Senate and the National Society of Black Engineers have other entertaining activities planned.
10/12/07 - The lights dimmed and the crowd grew silent. As a single light illuminated the stage, a screen turned on to reveal a video of former Secretary of State Colin Powell giving a speech. The house was full of eager theatergoers ready to experience what they had only heard of in the past.
