04/29/08 - The women's rowing team followed up its first-ever win at the Atlantic 10 Championships last week with a win against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "I think they rowed OK," head coach Shelagh Donohoe said. "I don't think it was their best race. I think they did what they needed to do to get their bow first."
04/29/08 - The University of Rhode Island men's baseball team dropped two games at La Salle University last weekend in an Atlantic 10 conference three-game series. "We really didn't play good," head coach Jim Foster said. "We went into La Salle with an 11-game winning streak and our bats shut down."
04/29/08 - The University of Rhode Island's women's track team competed in the final primer before the A-10 championship this weekend at the Brown Springtime Invitational on Sunday morning. Many Rams posted promising performances in the non-scoring event.
