11/4/09 - The No. 10 University of Rhode Island men's hockey team swept a two game series against The No. 7 University of Delaware Blue Hens during the weekend. The Rams picked up their first shutout of the year on Friday winning 3-0, and won a close game 5-4 on Saturday.
11/4/09 - On March 4, 2008, Brett Favre announced his retirement from the Green Bay Packers and the National Football League. At the time of his first retirement, Favre's career spanned 17 years and included a Super Bowl win, three Most Valuable Player awards and nine Pro Bowl selections.
