11/5/09 - Cold and flu season is in full swing and has hit the University of Rhode Island women's cross country team. It could not have come at a worse time as they competed in the Atlantic 10 Championship meet this past weekend. "Unfortunately many of the runners on out team came down with sicknesses such as bronchitis and the flu," head coach Laurie Feit-Melnick said.
11/5/09 - It was an up-and-down weekend for the University of Rhode Island women's volleyball team that went 1-1 during Halloween weekend. Rhody first traveled to Pittsburgh to take on Duquesne University and fell to the Dukes for the second time in five sets this season.
11/5/09 - Winning three of the last four matches, the University of Rhode Island men's soccer team continued to roll by, winning a close 1-0 game against Duquesne University. Both teams were held scoreless in the first half and the Rams were outshot five shots to three.
