Annie Nelson: "I began playing volleyball when I was about 7 years old. My dad used to coach my older sisters and play himself, and I just really picked up on it quickly.
11/06/09 - Facing its third straight nationally ranked opponent, the University of Rhode Island football team (1-7, 0-5 CAA) will look for a positive end to their season beginning this Saturday as they head north to take on the No. 8 University of New Hampshire.
11/06/09 - The NHL season began a little over a month ago when the league's "Premier Series" opened in Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden. Since then, the league has been hit hard by injuries and illnesses, and fans have questioned disciplinary actions taken by the league offices on dangerous hits and plays.
