University of Rhode Island Recycling is pleased and very excited to announce the opening of the student Recycling Office in room 304 of the Memorial Union.
Office hours are Monday through Friday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Many thanks to Tom Dougan (Vice President of Student Affairs), Student Action for Sustainability and the Public Relations Society for making this possible.
Students Brittney Austin, Margarida Da Graca, Rudny Gacin, Jolene Octavius, Kaylin Terhune and Marissa Theve will join me to answer questions, take orders for recycling bins for your dorm room or office, plan educational materials and events and work with you to help make recycling at URI convenient and more effective.
URI Recycling's main office is located at 12 West Alumni Avenue across from the Ryan Center box office.
Students can E-mail recycle@etal.uri.edu, click on www.uri.edu/facilities/recycling, or call 874-2840 for more information. There is also a URI Recycling group on Facebook.
