02/05/09 - In yesterday's issue of the Cigar, Hillary Brady attributed quotes from an e-mail to Dr. Pauline B. Wood in her article, "URI Lands, Grounds Department says ice problem won't melt away until university obtains sufficient equipment." The information, however, came from Director of University of Rhode Island Health Services Chad Henderson. An old automated signature was used in the e-mail.
Also, due to a production error in yesterday's issue, Matt Swiss' article entitled, "Women's basketball drops 2nd straight, Garrick says game huge disappointment," was cut off. The full version is still available online in our archives. We apologize for the inconvenience.
In the Jan. 28 issue of the Cigar, the article entitled "URI uses PSAT to recruit" incorrectly stated the total cost of URI's yield events. URI used $14,000 this year for "buying students," not $44,000.
