"We had great weather and ideal conditions," said head coach Tom Drennan. "The team is used to getting on and off planes so I think they weren't tired to play."

Day three was another impressive performance for Valois who led the team again in the tournament. He posted a score of 74, while Stevens finished the tournament in 72nd place, and posted a score of 75 in the last day.
Texas Tech University and Florida Southern College tied for first place at the tournament. Both teams led the way with 858 strokes over three days of competitive golf.
"I think coming out of the fact it was the first day outdoors, I was very pleased with some things," said Drennan. " On balance, I think it went well and we gave our self room for improvement."
The Rams will be back on the course on March 20 and 21 for the George Washington Invitational in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
"Hopefully we will get outside soon," said Drennan. "We are trying to search for more consistency, a more consistent approach will result in better scores for our guys."
