Why it's important: Career Services is one of the most important places to know about because it could help you find that dream internship that changes your life. Career Services offers mock interviews, resume critiques and job-hunting workshops. It's the place to be to get one step ahead.
7. Green Hall
Located: Right behind Independence Hall-it's the building with the really cool staircase in front.
Why it's important: Everything involving your finances is dealt with in Green Hall. The office of Enrollment Services, located on the second floor, is where you might need to go if your professor gave you a permission number after the add date. Below the enrollment office is also where you will find URI President David Dooley's office-so if you ever have a meeting with the Big Guy, that's where you'll be.
8. Academic Enhancement Center
Located: Fourth floor of Roosevelt Hall
Why it's important: If you're having trouble studying or you need a tutor, the AEC offers a variety of services for students and a great place to study. The staff is fully dedicated to fulfilling your studying needs, so feel free to stop in and visit.
9. Housing and Residential Life
Located: Roger Williams Hall
Why it's important: If you're having trouble with your roommate and you need to switch, HRL is the place you want to go. It's also a good idea to figure out where you're living next year and ask HRL any questions you might have up front. Get on that early-the housing situation can get pretty messy and if you don't know what's available to you, it can make your experience here a bit more difficult.

Located: The Potter Building on Butterfield Road
Why it's important: Not only can you be treated here when you are ill, but it also offers a women's clinic and a fully-staffed pharmacy on campus. Make sure to be on the lookout for its yearly flu vaccinations-sniffling and sneezing is not the way to end your semester. The staff there can also help you with stress management and nutrition. Ask about its seminars to learn more.
